We Are ACORN!

During 2022 we produced a series of films for ACORN, the direct action community union. The films were a mix of live-action and animated pieces, using existing footage, shooting new material and sourcing material from members. Some of the films were internal pieces for the membership and some were external to advertise the union to potential members.

The key film we produced in this series was ‘We Are ACORN!’ this two minute film explaining what ACORN is, why the organising method works and encouraging people to sign up. Whilst many of the pieces we’ve produced for ACORN in the past are quick turnaround campaign films, often with a rough and ready edge, we wanted to take this project to the next level and create something with a cinematic and personal touch without loosing the radical edge that runs through all that ACORN does.
